  • Expert Hi,
Inthe budget range mentioned good selection would be between Mahindra Xylo E8 and Tata Safari. To select one, Xylo would be better for features and availability in the price range.

  • buy anything but tata. it has no quality control, its parts are expensive and you need a lot of them !! it has no resale value, and each time u start it u pray that it doesnt breakdown

  • Hi,

Since I own a Safari dicor 3 ltr and I have already done 1.45L Km in last 3 years. I vouch for Safari yes Tata offcourse has noise problems but results of other SUV's are yet to come. Scorpio is difficult to handle on high speeds, Innova doesnt look like an SUV. I would suggest you to buy 2.2 New model I Guess its GX will ABS and other good features.

  • i totaly disagree with what mr jaideep has stated .im using the safari2.2 dicor for daily use driving at least a minimum of 220km .i have not faced any problem in the past one year .earlier i had indigo xl that too was trouble free .the first tata product i bought an indica dlx in 2000 .these car are most reliable do not trouble u if u get them serviced properly on time .the new safari 2.2 is definitely one of the best in it"s price range .people who critisize tata cars are generally who have driven around in the taxis where the cars are not at fault but the drivers who pocket money for service .if u change only 2 liters of engine oil instead of the regular 5.5 in the indica .this a general practise amongst the taxi drivers what performance can u expect.
