So much money for a tiny car? On the highway, it will feel like a toy particularly if you want to drive at 100kmph or more. Please spend your money on a robust, bigger car, even if it is a second hand, if you want to drive on the new highways our country is getting.

It have been using it all the time since 2 years now and I found it extremely awesome. Mileage is 15 w/o AC and 12 with AC. Solid pickup and power.
But the amount that you have mentioned, I would say there are better cars in the market for that price than i10.

sean you choice of the car is fine it is the fully loaded version but i agree to bs kr"s version to an extent bcos in the smaller hatchbacks you feel the speed .so you can also look for some bigger car if your highway travel is more.today india is having a lot of option .right from 1 lakh to crores.so testdrive a few of them before finalising.

You can get better option for the money you have option.

thanks for the advise , i would only like an automatic and i do not hav much choices to choose from in india.

Hi Sean, i10 auto is a great car and you can use it on the highways without any doubts. But be varied, that its mileage is far lesser than the figures quoted above. You can expect anything between 8-10 kmpl in the city and 12-13 on the highway. If you can afford such mileage thats fine, else you can always go for a CNG kit.
