Hi,
Buying a very old Maruti 800 at 30K would not be a good idea as it will have lot of maintenance problems and frequency of brake down would be more and hence peace of mind. It would be better to increase budget to around 75K to get a fairly good conditioned car.

If u wish to buy a old car maruti 800 is a very good choice. by the time u get expertise in driving u can go for a used car and maruti 800 is the best option. if ur looking for a car upto a budget of rs 30000. u can contact on 9221111170. you will get maruti 800 easily.

its nice decision to purchase an old car. but too cheap will be costly affair due to maintenance and also it will be troublesome. hence it is advisable to purchase a maruti 800 in good running condition. so pl increase your budget to Rs.60000 for non-AC and 75 K for AC maruti 800.

There are two issues here: 1. Your budget 2. Buying a good car. Regarding the budget consider the following points: Your age, your other commitments and your perspective of life. We all some time tend to save too much for our unknown future and loose the joy of life. I purchased a new Maruthi 800 and enjoyed driving 12 years. Now I have new i10 which is far better. If you are a confident driver it is not necessary you should start with old car for learning. You should enjoy driving--that should be the attitude.I am saying this in spite of driving in Bangalore traffic. Regarding buying a good car: go in for test drive in show rooms and also get feed back from mechanic and friends. It is better to buy a old car from a known person than from agents.Cars more than 5 yrs old or done 50000 km need more periodical maintenance. Good luck and blessings.(Santharam, retired scientist, NAL)
