8 to 10 km/ltr in average Indian city driving conditions with AC on/off. 10 to 14 on the highway.

My boss has got a Optra 1.6, which is run around 20K Kms done, as per his records,he is getting 11 Kms with AC in City, i don't know about the high way milage but it can be expected to 14 to 16 Kms./ Ltr.

I've used a 1.6 myself for over 2 years in Mumbai, great car, amazing features too. The average i've got all through is of around 8kmpl in the city (traffic & all) & about 11-12kmpl on the highway with ac. I guess without ac too the average doesn't change much, as its more of a performence machine. You'll enjoy the envy of others though...;0)

I have been driving optra 1.6 LS for five years, its a great car with a very great AC for Delhi summer. I get about 11 Km/Litre in city condition with AC and about 13-14Km/Litre on Highway with AC.
