Hi,
TVS Apache is a good option for its good combination of power, style reliability. You can go ahead with the same.

The only thing I like about the Apache is how it looks and some detailing like the nice disk brake design up front. Beyond that I dont like the engine and find it rough.

Look at the Pulsar 220 Carburetor version - lovely bike. Look at the Unicorn - totally reliable . And check out the H Honda Hunk - its a nice bike but runs out of steam after 70 kmph

I would suggest apache rtr160 Fi if u r looking for good mileage and performance. The onroad price is approx. 72000.

the best thing about apache is its handling & ride.but at the same time my advice would be please take a test ride of every bike you like beacause everybody has different feedbacks of a bike .as for mainteance it will not burn a hole in yur pocket definately.

i will suggest u to go for appache 150/ 160rtr old used bike because ur use is too low .so u will not loss of money @ resale and enjoy one more bike in next year .. because resale value of appache is to low .. chennai market price 2006 model 30k for best condition and 37/40for rtr 2007 model

I suggest its better to go for Devo or Activa instead of Apache or Pulsar because in India we r facing lot of traffic problem & shifting gears 10 times per minute is one of the headache. I own Apacahe RTR but planning to shift to Devo or Activa :). Choice is urs because each people have different taste.

Blindly go for Apache. I get variable avg. from 70-45KMPL depending on driving conditions. best performance in the segment. only drawback is the too much leaning posture in long runs causing back ache.
