Hi Shiva,This is not a satisfying answer.do you remember even I asked the same question seeking help from you and you have advised me to spend around 1.5 to 1.7 lakh without intimating about the maintainance as you have done for Satya above.
now when Satya has got a good offer of just Rs.1 lakh why are you telling him it's not a good choice to go for.when the car is litrally cheap than for what I have bought on your advice I am really heart felted now that you have not suggested me the same way and I have ended up buying at a higher price on your advice.

i would rather say you to refrain from this car because there must be a lot of work to do in the same. No doubt the engine of the car is ISUZU they are very good at diesel engines. But you can buy a fiat palio for around 90-1.0 lac model will be around 2002. Trust me that car is rock solid and you wont have to spend anything. Spares are very much available in the market. The mileage of 1.2 is around 12-14 kmpl.
I know you are going for that zen because its cheap and diesel too. But check with a good mechanic that how much you need to spend on it. He will give you a right answer.

I do agree that maintenance costs would be high since it is a diesel 2001. I own a ZEN automatic 1998 model in good condition approx 80,000 + kms sparingly used within Mumbai city. Needs a little touch up for some scratches. Colour Marine at Rs.90,000/-......looking to buy a Swift.
