Cars Q&A

Question
I am planning to buy a Muv within 3.5 lacs.My coise maruti eeco seven seater. But the seven seater is not available with ac version.Should I buy a seven seater and install a ac?Will that hampered the engine performance? what will be the approximate cost for and which company manufactures such type of car acs?

Answers:

Subros manufactures ACs for Maruti. But i will advise you not to do so. Fit and finish will be an issue. More over you might loose warranty. If you can't stretch your budget, look for a second hand Innova (diesel)(and do make sure that it did not run as a taxi), or Scorpio. Depends on our city but you should be able to get a well maintained Scorpio in the same price. Innova will be tough to find though.

First just check the availability. I have booked a 5 seater ac on 18th Jan in Mumbai and still await delivery.

Ecco is the best car in its segment. and Maruti itself will supply A/c as a Accessories in short period. So if you can wait, the eeco seven seater is Best car

Dear Sarkar,
since you are looking for a a/c variant, for the same budget you can buy a latest maruti versa 8 seater with single a/c or double a/c.

Hi,
As mentioned above there is waiting period of over three months for Eeco. Also A/C canbe fitted asaccessory later on.However for comfort it wil be worth going for 5 seater version with AC and later on convert it to 7 seater if required.
