As per the pervious mail regarding transfer of registration of punjab to Tamilnadu,as you said i need to know what could be tax for TN it could be,y am i asking it Bcoz i already paid around Rs 18000 and i am having a reciept for that.so pls guide me.

WHEN GOING TO REREGN TO NEW STATE THAN CHARGE WILL BE AS A SAME MODEL HOW MUCH FEE , LIFE TAX ETC THAT ALL MUST BE COLLECT ALSO FOR A OLD VEHICLE ..
U PAID 18000/ IN PUNJAB THAT IS NO LESS IN TAMILNADU FEES
FOR ANY DOUBT U MAY VISIT ANY RTO IN CHENNAI OR TAMILNADU WHERE IT ALL BE WRRITEN IN A BLACK BOARD BY PAIN FOR PUBLIC HELP...THERE U CAN FOUND HOW MUCH FEES AND WHATS FORMALITY TO BE FURNISH PL NOTE IT .. IF UR VEHICLE IS WITHIN 3 YEARS OLD U MUST TO PAY EXICE DUTY ALSO ..

Hi,
As mentioned by Gautam Jain best thing to do will be to visit chennai RTO for info on the exact amount to be paid and also time for transfer.
