Hi Shiva,i need a help from you,i am having a Punjab registered Santro,i got an noc and also submitted for transfer,transport authority has given a payment for change of regsitration,so i need to know how long it will take for the transfer for registration from Punjab to Tamilnadu.is their any change in number will be their.mainly i need to know how long it will take transfer after date of reciepent,which i got it on 22-3-10.So pls guide me in this.If any one know also help me.i had given it in chennai.

Just take all the documents and go to the nearest RTO in Tamilnadu, with your address proof. You will get all the information, forms and advice there. Do not pay any bribe for no reason, even though that is fashionable in Tamilnadu.

it will take 1 or 2 months after transfer number will change like TN 01 X 1234 BUT YOU HAVE TO PAY TAX TO TN GOVENAMENT

All the formalities can be got completed within one month or so. You will have to follow up with the concerned official for faster processing .Also you will have to pay road tax as applicable.

only noc is not enough . u have produce GENNUELESS CERTIFICATE ..when a person submitt to reregn , than new rto will give a gennules form u collect it and go for punjab ((OLD )) rto AND TAKE SIGN IN FORM AND SUBMITT IT TO CHENNAI RTO ..THIS WORK IS A INTERNAL RTO WORK BUT THEY WILL PRESS TO US TO DO ..NORMALLY NO ANY RTO REPLIES TO NEW RTO WHERE NOC ISSUED .. AND WITHOUT CONFIRM NEW RTO WILL NOT GIVE NEW TN NUMBER.. SO U MAY USE HERE MR B.S.KUMAR FACTOR >>>DONOT PAY ANY BRIBE FOR NO REASON ,, BUT REASON WILL BE CREATE THAT YET CONFIRMATION NOT RECEIVED ..SO ADJUST WITH A FASHION FOR QUICK WORK .. I M IN THIS FIELD BUT 3 YEARS PASSED I COULDNOT GET TN NO FOR MY MH PULSAR.. ALL PAPERS R OK BUT GENNULESS IS NOT RECEIVED BY THE<>
