Guess you will not get all the quality in one car. There is something always better in one way or the other.

I would say i am also planning to buy Ford Figo Diesel Model,after i had made the Test drive in chennai of both Ford Figo Diesel and Swift LDi with my friend who owns Swift Vdi with ABS,Compare to both Figo got less Pickup compared to Swift Model,but if we take into Legspace,boot space or Comfortability everything is Excellent in Ford Figo.Even my friend after driving for few km he too was saying Figo is excellent so i am finally saying Ford Figo is better in Comfortability,Performance and Spacious.but if you stick on with Petrol Version may be u got lot of choice as i10,Swift and Beat.but before taking any decision or advice from anybody for choosing a car you better take up a test drive,then surely you will get a good choice in your mind itself,but if you stick on in diesel version i may recommend you for Swift and Ford Figo diesel version as both are best in class.For spacious and comfortability you can go for Figo,this is my choice.

test drive figo, beat, polo and punto. then decide. You cant have all the qualities in one car. some give good mileage but ride, passenger comfort and luggage space could be constraint

PL NOTE THAT BEAT AND FIGO ARE NEW ENTRANTS;FORD NORMALLY HAS NOT BEEN VERY GOOD AT AFTER SALES SERVICE AND SPARES WITH EARLIER MODELS THOUGH THE CAR LOOKS SLICK. SIMILARLY,THE BEAT ALSO LOOKS SLICK.VALUE FOR MONEY IN RESPECT TO INITIAL INVESTMENT FIGO IS WAY AHEAD OF THE REST. MARUTI MODELS ARE TRIED MODELS WITH GOOD BACK UP OF SPARES AND AFTER SALES SERVICE.THERE IS NOT MUCH TO CHOOS BETWEEN SWIFT AND RITZ- ONLY THING IS THAT RITZ IS A NEW ENTRANT AND PROBABLY IS BETTER IN TERMS OF SPACE. IN RESPECT OF PUNTO, SWANKY LOOKING GOOD EUROPEAN CAR BUT ONCE AGAIN FIAT IS POOR IN RESPECT OF SPARES AND AFTER SALES SERVICE, EVEN THOUGH TATAS LOOK AFTER SALES SERVICE(STEP MOTHERLY TREATMENT-WHATEVER ONE MAY SAY).INDICA- GOOD CAR-NO IDEA HOW THE BODY HOLDS UP AFTER TWO THREE YEARS- WHETHER RATTLING IN THE BODY SETS IN,OTHERWISE A GOOD LOOKING BUY WITH THE CURRENT LOT OF FIAT ENGINES FOR A POWER PLANT.NOW- SANTRA AND I10- THE I10 IS DEFINITELY BETTER, THOUGH BOTH ARE VALUE FOR MONEY AND OVERALL COST OF OPERATION IS LOW WITH COMPARABLE AFTER SALES SERVICE AND SPARES AS COMPARED TO MARUTI. ENOUGH DOPE FOR YOU TO PICK AND CHOOSE. BEST OF LUCK
