Hi,
Going for Petra would be a tough choice due to poor resale value and maintenance has to be carried out with local garage.

I disagree with Shiva, as Fiat Petra is being supported by tata-fiat. There is no difference in engine between Petra and Palio, be it 1.6 petrol or 1.9 diesel. Fiat Petra is essentially a Palio with a Boot. Yes resale may be a problem. In a recent Fiat 24x7 service camp at Delhi, I met Mr Mangesh Kodalkar from Fiat India; who assured 10 years service availability from the date of discontinuation of a car.
