Dear Sir / Madam, I had bought a used Scorpio from a dealer. With regards to these will you please assist me for the following:- 1)How to get the ownership in my name. The dealer has already taken my signatures on Form 29 & 30 and said me that he had process the docs in RTO but even after 10 working days it was not yet came. 2)How to get the Comprehensive Insurance transfer in my name. Insurance is valid till Oct 2010. 3) Also let me know that which all original documents to be taken from the seller for my records. Thanks & Regards, Pankaj R. Panchal

Hi,
Generally the transfer of ownership will take around 15 days. You can get the contact details of agent if you have sen through agents for follow up. Once the transfer of ownership is over take the rc book to concerned insurance co and you can get transfer immediatly.Aas you are gettingthe transfer of ownership through dealer/agent they will take care of getting transfer of insuranc also. You will have to get the original RC book,Insurance cover note,emision certificate.
