Hi,
Honda CR-V has proven performance and has the reputation of a great reliable SUV from quite long time in India. The price of it has increased considerbly from that of the earlier versions.
On the other hand Chevrolet Captiva has good features and available in diesel version and price is also very competitive. General Motors India is well established and will continue to expand its operations in India.
Though both are good, to choose one Chevrolet Captiva is the one to go for.

I had been driving CR-V(luxury model with leather seats, electric seat operations and sun roof) since two years now and am a very happy fan of Honda cars. CR-V's reputation had been so good for some time now. The latest CR-V is a few centimeters longer than the previous one. Driving a CR-V gives me a great feeling of pride. To own one, will make anybody feel the same, in my opinion.
