Vtec: 98bhp / 13 kmpl
Non Vtec: 75 bhp ? 15 kmpl

Answer by Sid 02 February 2010

A 2001 is the old version - which had 1.3 L and 1.5 L options - and also 1.5L VTEC. The old car is good and delivers 90 bhp (1.3L), 100bhp (1.5L) and 105bhp (1.5L VTEC). The mileage varies between 11km/liter to 13/liter depending on driving habits & aircon on/off.

vineeth look i dont want to discourage you but honda city is wonderful car but the model you have chosen is too old generelly petrol cars dont have problem with engin but its maintenance is very difficult, wipers, bearings oil seals radiator wireings one or the other ting will keep on damaging as its old car, rest if its vtec then you can experience each ride as rocket ride better then skoda or any other car of this classmy vtec gives avg of 17-18 and on highway 20-21 good fuel efficient car

Answer by Mukesh 02 February 2010

According to me it is the most reliable car I have ever used. Easy to maintain and economical too. The only negative is that the model is outdated, but defenitely worth the price you have paid.
