i own an fz s 2009..12000km on the odo...i hav installed a k&n filter n rejetting is also done..i have also removed the catalyc cenverter from the exhaust...i use a 20w50w engine oil too...but m not happy with the performance yet..getting a very low mileage,top end has also gone too low,though mileage is not a concern for me in turn of performance but its too low (20-25kmpl) n my bike is also doing a lot of missing with bursts when i pull it hard & in normal conditions too...specially when i apply brakes or decelerate..got it fixed from a yamaha dealer n also from a reputed mechanic...still the problem persists..please help fixing this problem & advice something for increase in top end..

i thing thers a problem in air filter and i prefer u to put the engine oil by name PETRONAS SPRINTA (its imported from malaysia 1 ltr cost u 600 bugs just try this engine oil and for the top end my bike CBS was also doingthe same thing was missing so i change d the air filter now i am reaching the speed of 130+

Hi,
As you are using best of filters and oil We recommend to to get the mileage test done for knowning exact figures of mileage.For the miss firing proper ispection has to be done with ignition system.Please provide us the detailed explanation given by mechanic at Yamaha dealer regarding overall condition of bike as they could have given exact figures of Mileage and top speed.

better drive with the stoke filters,stoke air filter box have a torque volume,if u remove the filters u will loos an amound of torque,a four stroke tuning needs a huge investment,,,,(when it comes in the proper line)
