Yes, Go for it. I have been enjoying Baleno VXI for about 3 years.. and it is such an amazing car. I don't know if LXI has power steering or not.. but if yes.. then it would be great fun to drive. I drive it in Delhi and millage was never an issue. Even If I compare baleno driving with my honda city, I prefer my Baleno. I dont know why.. but Baleno seems such a powerful car to me. I don't know why Suzuki has its sale in India.

Hi,
Baleno is a good choice for its spacious interiors, powerful engine and service backup. The drawback is the bit mileage of around 12KMPL max and higher maintenance costs.

One of the best machines I have driven. On mileage if driven in 5th gear and no clutch riding, it can give you upto 13 kmpl.

Though I sold it 2 yrs back but I did Manali, Simla, Jaipur without any challenges.

I have been driving the Lxi model for last 3.5 years. Its a good car with sturdy performance and handling. You cannot expect mileage of alto with a 1.6 engine car, so I guess 12 kmpl is a decent average. The only issue is ground clearing and with 4 people in car you will end up touching almost every speed breaker. Maintenance cost is low but getting spares is costly now as the model is out of production.

Dear Shiva

I have recently bought Scorpio Petrol Year 2003 for 2.25 lakh. Is the cost ok for this vehicle. Tell me about maintenance costs etc. I want to convert it to CNG. Is this not a better car than Scorpio 2004 diesel version which is about 4 lakh.
