Admissions


DYPDC College is commencing from 3rd August, 2010. Admissions are open for this year and the Last date to apply for this semester is July 05th, 2010. It is advisable to apply earlier because of limitation of seats. We have a rolling admission policy, which means that the application form is considered for admission immediately on receipt. The admission process is as follows:


# Complete the Application for Admission form in all respects. Application for Admission form is enclosed herewith.


# Submit the filled-in application for admission form along with

- Portfolio


-Statement of Interest


-Photocopies of Mark sheets and

-Application fee of Rs. 2000 in the form of a demand draft drawn in favor of "DYPDC Center for Automotive Research Studies" payable at Pune.


# After you submit all the documents the Admissions Review Committee reviews it.


# Admission decision is made on the basis of your portfolio and statement of interest


# Within 07 days of receipt of all necessary documents, the Admissions Office will convey the result.


# You will get an admission offer letter confirming the grant of admission.

Faculty

An International faculty body consisting of members with professional experience and outstanding record in teaching and research conduct the program. The faculty consists of a combination of full-time and visiting faculty from within India and abroad.

Curriculum

We offer a comprehensive, future-oriented curriculum, which is business-validated and competency-based, designed using framework provided by National Association of Schools of Arts and Design (NASAD), USA and referencing the Subject Benchmark Statements as provided by the Quality Assurance Agency (QAA), UK. This is the only program where you get to build an actual car as part of your final year project.


Placements

Placements are assured for all worthy students at the end of course. Through our numerous links with the Automobile Industry we will help you to access project, internship and placement opportunities. Our dedicated Placement Unit will assist you in finding a suitable placement at the end of the course.


The sheer size of the automobile industry, the importance of design in the automobile industry, the shortage of qualified designers, and our knowledge of the automobile industry will result in numerous opportunities for our students. Opportunities in this industry, especially after the completion of the program are terrific. You can get a job in India, as well as anywhere abroad with reputed automobile companies.


Hostel
Separate on-campus accommodation for male and female students is available.

Hostel fee is Rs 1 lakh per annum (This includes only Lodging)


Certification

The courses offered by us at present are autonomous is nature, i.e. they are not recognized in any form by the central or state Government. At the completion of the course, the students will receive a certificate saying, "Undergraduate Program in Automobile Design" or "Postgraduate Program in Automobile Design" respectively. The certification is awarded by "DYP-DC Centre for Automotive Research and Studies."

Additional Information

Both the undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by us are full-time in nature. We do not offer any part-time, short-term courses or distance-learning programs.

Don't join these private colleges as they ask more money in the form of either hefty fees or donation etc., as you got good scores in SSC search for govt diploma colleges where admission is based on your ssc marks and admission test and fees are also very very nominal only few thousands
