My RITZ VXI 08/2009 MODEL has showned signs of rusting in the engine compartment during the second free servicing. What could be done to prevent this? Will i be able to get free Maruti support after warranty is over on this issue?I have taken extended warranty for 4 years At present Maruti owned Service centre applied touch up paint which i think is a temporarily solution and will only slow down the rusting rate. I have faced exactly the same problem in My WAGON R 2003 model right from warranty same touch up paint was applied. But rust continued in hidden parts and after 5 years i faced glass crack problem then it was found that metal plate below glass was completely eaten up by rust and i have to bear the cost of repair as maruti completely disownwned his quality issue. I have written this issue 3-4 months back also in this site also. I do not want to repeat the same issue with my Ritz and pay for the same? Pl advice At present feedback from Maruti is awaited on this problem?
