Hi, I intend to buy a Tata Vista soon and use it for at least 10 years. Which is cost effective in long run - petrol or diesel? I usually drive around 600 kms in a month on smooth road. Does mileage differ in petrol and diesel versions?

For the usage mentioned and expected number of years willing to own .You can go for a diesel version and follow the maintenance schedule properly and keep the vehicle in good condition including safe driving then you can use the car for 10 years and even more.There is difference in mileage with diesel version giving better mileage of 3KMPL extra than petrol.

Without any hesitation go for DIESEL version. If you can stretch your budget a little bit... buy Quadrajet. Its amazing....

definitely the Quadrajet diesel........
but,but ,but.........check for the after sales servicing is gud in your area or not....
