I intend to buy a car, my usage would be 35-40km daily within mumbai city, also important to me is leg room, decent boot, abs and airbag. kindly suggest if I should opt for disel or petrol vehicle; also do suggest a suitable car from maruti or hyundai, I can stretch my budget up to 10 lakhs. Regards

With the budget range mentioned and requirment petrol versions would be good option.As your preference is for Hyundai or Maruti Suzuki models, SX4 would be right selection.

Hi,
As ur daily travel is around 40Kms.. better to prefer diesel car... Hyundai Verna CRDI Heigher end would be the best suit... Even u can try Switf DZire ZDI too as i have seen, its also a comfy car with good boot & leg space.
If u r ok with Fiet, then a very Grand car Linea is also there...But i would strongly suggest u to check out Linea...

hi,i am the maruti sx4 user , i have no probles with my car.my daily ride is about 50km in mumbai.but it is very luxuries feel to drive the car like sx4 in the trafic on s.v.road and new link road in mumbai west between borivali to bandra. it is very presious so i am with 6 feet hight i dont have a problem of boot space in the front and the rear

Dear Mr.Sumit,
With due regards to all the cars in the price range between 7 lacs to 10 lacs for petrol there is no better option than Maruti SX4, with the given price no other manufacturer offers a better package than a Suzuki SX4. Also in diesel(since you specified) you can look out for i20 diesel...
