Cars Q&A
Asif,
I would suggest you to set a budget of around 1.5 lks to 2 lks which will help you gt a relatively less older esteem.
esteem on the mantainence front is a very reasonable pick.
Maruti is known for low mintainance. If you can actually own an esteem diesel then it is gonna be great as it has the best of milage and minimum maintainance in diesel cars is required.
HI....The esteem is a great car, however if you were using a zen, u'll find it abit expensive on milage, cause the esteem give good milage, but not compared to the zen...i do no ur taking a disel one, pick may not be that good...and if ur using it 2000 klms it would mak a big difference...in terms of porblems...the worce is the ratling of the dashboard on bad roads, and the ac never kools if its a 2002 model, any thing above that, that is 2003 is way better, but not compared to the new cars, in the summer u want feel the ac working...trust me on this...I had a petrol one and used if for 9 years a 2000 model...now using the new Honda city....a big differnce...value for money
Dear Sir,
Please don't go for up gradation esteem diesel.I would like to suggest you buy a second hand TATA Indica in diesel.
Thanks and kind regards,
D.N.SINGH
I would advice don't go for an Esteem. Compared to Zen, you'll find that it is not at all fuel efficient. The average is very less and to the top of it, Maruti has stopped producing Esteem, so getting spare parts for a second hand Esteem will be real pain. Go for a Santro instead.
Hi,
The better option would be to go for a used Esteem Petrol. You can get fair conditionied one in 1 lac.
