Dear Sir, two weeks back I asked about the replacement of the Pully in my Santro Xing eRLX 2006 model. I gave the vehicle for replacing the AC and Engine pully in a reliable work shop. But the problem is the pully is out of stock, and the spare parts dealer ordered the same from the Hyundai company at Delhi, but yet they could not give, my car is in workshop for about three weeks, the mechanic told me if the original is not available we can rectify the problem with duplicate pully. but i could not trust the duplicate parts. Is there any chance to get a original pully in Trivandrum, what can I do. please help

Mr. Anu,
I have very recently changed all the belts and timing pulley of my santro which has covered 60000 kms. My advice is to get the original pulley as it will perform better than the duplicate.

Goig for a dublicate one would be a risky choice as you will have to go back to workshop with same problem at earliest. Hence please opt for genuine parts.What you can do is to follow up with the part suplyer and Hyindai spares division and insist them to send spares soon and just add one line that you may have to spread negetive feedback about Hyundai parts supply system.

Speak to the customer care at Hyundai at the HO in Delh and apprise them of the problem and the lack lustre response you have recd. both from the authorised dealer and the company.Tell them that you are going to highlight this in the newspapers and tell them it will be bad publicity for your company.
I am sure this will work.Do not delay in contacting them on phone in Delhi.
