Many of my friends say that Tata cars are just the small trucks ! Moreover, the service can be compared to that of government department ! In these days, when the better choices are available, why go for trouble? Better say TATA to such vehicles.

Panicker is right, try getting higher authority mail id of tata motors and write your issues to them, i am sure they may consider your engine problem.

Tata wont replace the car...but u can negotiate with them for an upgraded engine...for eg..if u have TDI then ask for DICOR....thats the only ting u can do.

Chandy is right.I dont think TATA is not such a bad company.You wont get such type of cars in that prices.These types of problems are rare,may be 01 out of 20000.

if tata motors is going to change ur engine than its all right, change it.
they would not change ur car because ur car body or chassice is all right,so u should have no problem of cahnging ur engine

yes, just file a case in consumer court against dealer & tata motors & stick to chanse the car

If the car's engine is failed, then they will replace it for free, as it is under warranty. You should not have any issues with it. Engine failure is a rare problem which can occur on any vehicles. For that matter, I bought a Hyundai Santro in 2006 and in 2 weeks the engine went down. The dealer took the car and replaced it with a new one. And from then on, for 3 years, that car has performed well.

So, don't loose heart because the engine failed. Just go ahead and replace it.
