Hello, I am first time buyer looking for used car, obejective to use for 3-4 years before re-selling and going for new one. My usage initially weekend purpose - 100-200 km only per month, gradually may increase the use but right now no such need. My budget is 1 lac to 2 lac.. Pls suggest which car - hatch back or sedan - wagonr/zen/alto santro/accent palio any other car. i do not want to pay much on maintenance, car is much of luxury for me. looking for car less then 5 yrs old so that when i think of selling i get a good re sale price.. pls suggest regards Snehal

Answers:

Your idea is good, but go for an used car from a known single user not more than 3 years old.

Go for Wagon R as it is the one of the best car for a first time user.

Get the car checked before you buy.

I did the same mistake and i had lost lot of money in maintenance itself.

If you are really planning for car in 2lakhs range then go for 800 itself new one there will not be much of maintenance.

My experience is new one is better than a used one.

Better to go buy New Car. As per your requirement Marti 800 would be best stand.
