Yamaha Fazer is indeed a good performance bike with stylish outlook but the price is bit high compared to waht it offers.Yamaha FZ16 would make a better choice which also features same engine.
Yamaha is certainly good bike. You can consider Pulsor 220 at approx same price or 5 K more. Get a much more powerful bike. ( approx 30 % more power)

The Yamaha Fazer is a pretty good bike, this bike has an amazing designing and I personally feel its a better bet than the R15 as well bcos of its superior robust build.
I took a test drive of the fazer recently but I kind of missed the handling, cornering and pick up of the FZ16 as it handled better than the fazer.
I would suggest u a FZ16 instead of the fazer as its more stylish and muscular and easier to manuvier in the indian traffic and roads.
As per my view, Pulsar 180CC is the best bike with all best features like power, tubeless tires & good styling with very good effeciency...
But if still u r fond of power, then P220 is one of the best bike within 83K with India' s best illumination system, same milage of Fazer ie. 35 to 40KMPL with 21 BHP Power which is the world's cheapest high powered bike
The basic advantage to prefer Bajaj is the lowest prices of Spares & good milage compared to any other brand in segment...
