Cars Q&A

Question
I am planning to buy a MUV.My budget is around 7-8 lakhs.I am interested in Mahindra Xylo E4.But I am confused about the resale value of the xylo. How will be the resale value of xylo in future? . I am even thinking of buying the Used Toyota Innova. I am impressed with the performance of both the cars. Which one will be the better one in case of the fuel economy , maintenance, reliability and resale value?

Hi,
Going for Mahindra Xylo is a good option for its utility, interior comfort and performance. The resale value is also good. With both expected mileage is average of 10KMPL.Also recommended to test drive new Tata Sumo Grande MKII before finalysing.

Hi Vinay:
If you are ready to spent 7-8 lakhs they go for new Xylo, it is my suggestion. Xylo is spacious, comfort, milage 10-12 KM, stability, etc. Mahindra needs to fix some cheap fixing in the SUV. Automatic version will be great for city driving. 2nd hand may be misused, defective running condition, above all no warranty by dealer/manufacturer.

Hi Vinay,

Don't be worried about the resale value of Xylo. It will be on par with other cars in its class. If you compare it with Innova, in my opinion Innova is way better on all the counts you have mentioned. Only concern being that you are looking for a used Innova due to budget constraints, it is really difficult to find one in a good & unabused condition. So, its better you buy a new Xylo.
