Dr. Rao i believe resale value of santro xing is more than wagon R anyday..and we cant compare the resale value of maruti 800 cannot be just little less than santro. There is a big difference.
Well, i think, 800 or alto will suffice the criteria. less maintainance and easy to handle. Alto will be the best selection

For Driving it will be better a Tall boy car like WagonR or
for better for cheaper rate than Wagon R is the Santro small car. You can even go for Maruti 800 for a little bit more cheaper rate than Santro for the same model or year of manufacture.
Dispose of maruti when you learnt car driving and go for your choice of car.

Hello buy a Corsa it will cost you around 50-70K after that sell it and buy another.Learn along with style.Only one thing do not keep Opel vehicle long bcose it does not have a good resale value and service.

You can get a 5-yr old Maruti 800 for around a lakh. Buy a new car next festive season (Oct-Nov).Who knows, you may fall in love with Maruti and decide to keep it too!
