Cars Q&A

Question
Among Ritz Diesel LDI (Rs. 4.72 Lac) and Ritz Petrol LXI Rs.4.10 both on road Delhi with current discounts. Which one is better overall for 1200 KM/month driving considering long term 5-8 years investment.Mostly with AC city and occasional highway drive. Will petrol be good because can fit CNG later? Will Diesel maintenance or vibrations be a trouble? Kindly revert earliest.

Hi,
Considering long term usage and the average distance travelled in each month it does make a good selection in going for diesel version Ritz. though bit costly, in long term it will be beneficial on account of mileage and price of fuel.Maintenance of diesel version wont be much of a problem.

Hi Sanjeev,

Considering your monthly usage, I would suggest you to go for Rita LDi. You will recover the extra cost in 2 years time because of higher mileage of LDi & cheaper cost of diesel. Ritz comes with a latest generation & proven diesel engine, so dont worry about vibrations or higher maintenance over a longer period. CNG would not be ideal, as you would kill the already very small boot space as well as spend almost 35-40000 which brings it close to LDi. Also performance will not as good as running on petrol or diesel.

dear sanjiv, if you have some waiting time to go for swift ldi is much better model then ritz and both models contain same diesel engine and the differ is main model of swift is tooooo much racing look car so if you want a superior desighn then you wait 2--month in same prise and same engine and ritz gives same time delivery and 10.000rs aditional discount.
