Dear Sir, I am planning to buy a new car,the budget being 10 lakhs. I am confused as to buy a petrol car or a diesel car. My running is approximately 10000 to 12000 per annum. Please give me the reasons in detail, and also specify which car to buy. Also specify which colours to take. The dealer says that I can take white which is haveing a lot of demand, but I personally feel that white would take a lot of maintainence and would get spoilt in course of time. The selection between petrol/ diesel mainly depends upon usage and preferences. However, for the usage mentioned diesel version cars would be of better utility and can be used for long term.The good selection would be between Fiat Linea and Mitsubishi Cedia. Mitsubishi Cedia Sports would be the best selection for its style, performance and reliability, good resale value.

White being universal colour is the choice of many for its general acceptence. Also after long term usage the white coloured cars fading will not be distinguishible as the dark colours hence helps for slightly better resale value.
