Cars Q&A

Dear Sir, I am owner of Maruti 800 DX and self driving it since 11 Years. Now I want to change car not for status but feel good with some new setup. My first choice is still on Maruti cars. I have to run only 200 KM per Month in daily use. I am interested in smaller car having some extended and better features for which I can expend Rs. 3.5 to 4 Lacks. I use to run almost alone. As such look of car should be small and sleek. Look of santro Xing is also broader. So I do not prefer it. Average and maintenance is also considerable as I belongs to a small town. Please advice me which car would be better for me keeping in view all my requirments. I am not in hurry also. With regards Arun Singh

Considering all your requirments and for budget range mentioned, the Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo would be the best option.

You could also look at Maruti Alto which is low in maintainability and very good mileage. A small car with some very good features.

a-star or estilo.. would suit you...

since you drive alone often, Maruti Alto is your best bet.
However, wait till mid-2010 as the Alto is going to be
fitted with an improved K-series engine that will give
your vehicle better performance and mileage.

As you are saying SANTRo is broader then there is only one car which is less broader. That is ALTO . You can choose LXI model which gives basic facility of A/C and power steering.Whats more MARUTI is selling 700 Altos per day ,the highest car sold in INDIA.

Other than Alto which will be refurbished mid 2010, you can look into Chevrolet Spark, there is a scheme going on & you can get it at 2.7 lacs on road in Delhi - power steering, ac, free insurance & 3 yrs mainteneance free
