I hv taken ALTO LXI in Sept 2009, now only 13 - 7312

I hv taken ALTO LXI in Sept 2009, now only 1300km vehicle moved. But now, Im very interested 2 go 4 swift vdi, I agree ALTO is very good car, it is giving 20km/ltr with AC on highways. But I need ur valuable advise i.e. I want to sell ALTO and go for swift vdi. So, please advise me shall I go ahead 2 sell ALTO right now, If I sell, how much amount will i loose. And also shall I wait for new SWIFT VDI in 2010 model? Shall I sell ALTO in this month or shall I wait till 2010? Any one kindly give me good advise.

Maruti Alto LXi is a good value for money car and has proven customer satisfaction and hence makes a good car to own.Once the car is taken out from showroom, its resale value comes down nearly upto 50k and it will be approximately same if sold after six months from date of purchase . Hence it wont be a good idea in selling the car right now. Maruti Suzuki may come up with upgraded engine,upgraded features Swift by mid 2010 or so. Best thing to do will be to use the same for around six months or so and go for latest versions.
