Pl. check rear suspension dampers on priority then other things. Pl. note that weaker suspension is a safety hazard at high speed as it reduces road holding.

I agree that santro is good on highway. I want to know if there was any thing done to your tyres ? some puncture shop guys put a patch to cover the tyre rupture.. which will create a steering shiver if you go beyond 80Km/Hr. So if this is the case change the tyre. also check the wheel alingnment/balance.

Reduce the tyre pressure to around 30
Still it doesnt help try changing the tyres, go for tubeless.
If there is still a problem, get your suspension checked.

However going through the problems suspension doesnt seem much of an issue.

Santro is a very good vehicle.I have driven it on many express highways at speed of 100-120 kms/hr.May be the car you have needs a check up.
Please check the tyres & air pressure or go to the service station and explain the concern which can be definitely handled.

The bumpy ride which you are mentioning is the main problem in santro. Its a basic design fault. I agree with the comments that the car has good pick up, has a good engine etc. But somebody had reported of going at 100 or 120 km/hr. Please do not try these kind of life threatening stunts. The new santro has less body weight and it could topple very easily. I have tried going at these speeds but the car feels too light at that speed.
Coming to the answer. I have driven the new hyundai i 10 which is far better than santro.The cheaper option is to go for a much wider tyres or the costlier option is to change the vehicle.

all santro has this problem of bumpy ride at rear seat so you adjust yourself to it.

You are right this is common problem in santro its rear suspensions are worst and even i am thinking to sell my santro because of this ,so you are advice to either adjust yourself or sell it.

Suspention, wheel alignment and wheel balancing are the only reasons of this problem if they are not in proper shape.

Santro is good for city drive and you wont get much comfort on highway like Esteem or Zen.Tall boy designs is not good for high speed.If its more bumpy you have to check the suspension.
