Considering Chevrolet optra,Can i know From which model,month,year onwards they have introduced VGIS Engine?How to identify whether its VGIS or not?Whether its mentioned in RC Book?Pls Advice..

The Chevy Optra is a pretty good car overall, and you should be able to find a good used car for a reasonable price. The VGIS is just an improvement on the intake system and is not any kind of big technological advancement. It will not be mentioned in the RC Book. It was introduced in 2004.

In Chevrolet Optra VGIS engines were introduced from 2004 onwards. It can be identified with checking the near the head assy.However for knowing in the particular car is having VGIS or not, you can contact dealer with Chassis and engine number and you will get confirmed information.
