Is there any possibility of premature malfunc - 7256

Is there any possibility of premature malfunction in Fuel injectors (Multijet)due to contamination (Adultration )of diesel. If yes what are the symptoms of faulty injectors in CRDi I have a Punto Multijet 8000 k.m.But car is giving problem of poor pick-up & lack of Turbo Kick /Turbo Boost
