Cars Q&A
Drdj, It's not clear if you are referring to City 1.5 EXi CVT or GXi CVT. Both have limited differences. If the car is in excellent (almost new tires, alloys, smooth engine and transmission, all power option working, no scratches on the exterior and clean interiors) condition then in my opinion a price of around Rs. 5 to 5.5 Lakhs is okay. Please drive the car a couple of times for at least 20 mins in city conditions. City CVT should be effortless, noiseless and smooth during the drive. You will spend around Rs. 3000 on a major service at 30000km.
Hi,
Considering that its a City GX model,5 to 5.5 lac should be a genuine offer.
Hey! now a days there are many sellers of Honda City in almost with every agent and everywhere online also. I am getting a car like Brand New Honda City GXI for 4L. No one will pay 5-5.5L, considering market conditions. No matter how nice is the car, 2nd hand value is always low. Because this car is good and having good 2nd sale value it can be sold for 4L, otherwise all big cars are getting for 3L. So comparing with them also 1L more for Honda is enough. No one will give 2-2.5L extra for 2nd hand. Now dont say that you have maintained your car, everyone tells the same thing. The car which i have seen was as good as 1st hand. Also if you have installed great deck and other accessories, it has no value. Think from the purchaser side. If he buys this car for 5-5.5L what value he will get when he sells his car?? will he get 4L,,, NO, becoz then he will be 2nd owner. 2nd owner Honda city is about 3L. and 1st Owner is 4L, no matter if its 2004 or 2005 model...
Hey! who said GXI will give a mileage of 28kms. Its impossible, also if you only drive on highway... According to me mileage of Honda city is about 10(city)-15(highway). Not more than that.
