Hi,
Indica Xeta does make a good choice for its opimum price, decent performance ,spacious interiors and build quality.

Answer by Shiva Shankar 12 December 2009

XETA IS A GOOD OPTION ONLY IF
1)YOU NEED SPACE
2)WILL NOT MIND SOME BODY SOUND WITHIN FIRST YEAR.
3)MILEAGE AT BEST WILL BE 15 KMPL WITHOUT AC.
4)YOU WILL NOT SELL YOUR CAR LATER, AS IT HAS NO RESALE VALUE.
5)THEN CAB BRANDING.
6)TATA MAKE GOOD TRUCKS AND BUSES ONLY.

Answer by D K SINGH 12 December 2009

It is a very good car.For me it gives 16 KM per Lt. with AC
on high ways.It is a family car.It is best suited for both village and rural areas. For our country's road condition It is a good car.

Answer by Asokan 12 December 2009

May be you should instead try Fiat Punto or Hyundai 120.Tata petrol vehicles are not known to be smooth or have resale value.

Answer by Santhoshrgopal 12 December 2009

you will be buying this junk ..

Answer by Srikanth 12 December 2009

My dear friend, dont ever buy this car. You will have to pay for it later. This is crap car, trust me. Poor quality interiors, poor re sale value, poor milege are some of its features. Buy Santro or I10 instead... this is not a good choice at all. You will regret on this decision one year later.

Answer by Jasmeet 12 December 2009

Mileage on the petrol version is low

Answer by Ashok 12 December 2009

It is advisable to go for more advanced version of Indica Vista considering the space and engine performance in that price range.

Answer by Vijay 12 December 2009

Its value for money. Good space cheap but engine is not smooth. More vibration. Less resale value.

Answer by Dr Ketan Jinwala 12 December 2009

wait till mid of 2010. many exciting small cars are coming to India . If in hurry , buy Maruti-any model and be happy !

Answer by Munish 12 December 2009

Dear Naresh,
if you are looking for a petrol car, suggest you look at Maruti/Hyundai. tatas have a forte in diesel engines, that is their core competence area. If u are looking around for a diesel car, then Tata is a very good option, particularly the vista series

Answer by Dipankar 12 December 2009

Most of the TATA bitten folks have shared quite genuine information on the 'Junk(Indica)'.
I'd say good things are not cheap & cheap things are not good :)
