Never,never trust a dealer!

some dealers will misslead its only for there sales target its better to wait and buy the car in 2010 it will give you more value when you plan for the resale

The current swift and dzire are bs-3 models.... and the petrol engines are g-series engine.... these engines have been used by maruti for 13-14 years in the esteem... these engines cannot be converted to bs-4 standards which are coming in April 2010. This is the end of the road to these engines... Maruti must be launching the new dzire with latest k-series or the m-series engines very soon...
I would strongly recommend u to wait for the new one....

hi pramod.i agree with mr abhishek. there will be new engines for the petrol dzire in 2010 to meet bs4.there will also be a price rise. i would suggest you wait for the new engine as old ones will be absolute. you will also have to checkout how much will be the difference for the 2010 model car.dont rely on the dealer.

Does the new engine is to be fitted in Swift VXI also or only for Swift Dizire.

It will be better to buy car manufactured in 2010. Pls check even if you buy in Jan, 10. the manufacturing date shoud be of 2010 else you will loose 8-10 % in resale.
