Firstly, you please understand the root cause of the AC Failure.
If the problem is purely technical & for which you are not responsible, then get the entire AC System replaced under warranty ( If exists), if possible, sold it immediately for better value, or retain it. Overall review about the Fiesta is very good but u might have got unluckily this problem.

honda automaker has a excellent reputation when it comes to performance and the quality of spares.
i'm an car lover. i'm aware about the problems people have faces with ford when its come to servicing and spares.ford has not been that suscessful in india, hope ur aware about that fact....!!

in fact, i waould any day stick on to honda. infact i would prefer honda to matuti also, though i'm aware that honda parts are not less expensive.
honda all day..........

Ford has saved face with the Fiesta in India, after a few disastrous cars. The problem you are facing doesn't seem to be a teething one. It is exceptional enough to not cause you any worry about the quality control behind the car itself. Ford is treating India with renewed respect so hopefully you can escalate your complaint high enough to get a good response from Ford. For most part, you should get a few satisfying years from your Fiesta, but if you are going to change, Honda would be your best bet.

I have a car in which one wiper blade failed after 6months.Without any hesitation, the dealer changed both the blades.I did not immediately change the car or call it the 'worst car in India".My car's exhaust pipe failed after 4years.If I was to replace it as the dealer would, it would have cost me Rs12,000/-.I got it repaired for Rs1.800/-.After two years, it's still OK.I could have gone for Ss exhaust which would have cost me more than Rs40,000/-.You are talking about Honda, which is a totally diff. kind of car.If you like that, stick to the Jap and Korean vehicles. Each person's taste is different.Stick to your type and don't blame a car for a complaint in the AC or Light orarmature or wipermotor or sparkplug.Hope you get what is common in allthese. You may buy aC for your home and it may fail any time.If it's just after the warranty period, bad luck. The most popular AC may fail in few months and an assembled one may last years. That's an AC.The car AC in our cars have settings which we rarely use and this also can cause failures.Pl.compare the sales figures of the cars in Fiesta's segment and you will think twice before risking changing your car to another in the same range.I sympathise with you for having to spend heavily, but think of the car you have and not the AC.If it's the temperature control valve that failed, ifyou have not been needing 'heating'in the car- not using the car in cold places, that valve is bound to fail. This happens even in Mercedes. If it does'nt, it's luck.Don't burn the house to kill the rat in it.I pity the advisors who say "If you don't like it throw it."
