Hi Shyam,
You have one of the best bikes, Its a true legend. The mileage you are getting is great for a CBZ,it shows that your bike is in nice shape. If you are looking for a mileage bike, than this is not it. Its a comfortable, powerful machine. Once you get use to the ride and handling, no bike will give you the same pleasue.

Thanks,
Ali

Dear , 40 millage in cbz 2002 model is better millage ..
for better u try to maintain propperly >> service . cluch plate . drive chain .carb, air filter proper.
and once do service for head ONLY HEAD . not pick up bore from case ...
AND ASK UR MECHANIK TO SET AMBITION/PULSAR 150 CARBURATER THAN U MAY GET 55 KMPL. BUT SLGHT DIFFRENCE IN PICKUP WHICH WILL HIGHEST 10 /15 PERCENT ...

You have got quite a few good responses above, but do not fall for the ruse that using synthetic oil improves mileage. Absolutely NO chance that using an oil that has stronger molecules can improve the efficiency of the fuel burning in the engine! However, keeping the bike well maintained, including oiling your chain properly can make some difference.

Hi,
Considering number of years of usage, 40 KMPL on average seems to be good. However for better mileage get the bike serviced regularly and follow tips for fuel saving like, switching of engine in stop signals, avoid unnecessary acceleration during idling, mainaining correct tyre pressure etc
