I have booked a Nano and since the delivery time is too long, can I withdraw the booking now ? What do I have to do since I have opted for retaining the booking amount earlier while booking the car ? Please advise.

    You can do cancelation of booking at the Tata Motors dealer.

  • Yes u can go for cacelation of the same but you have the other option available which depends on your period of delivery .so if u can mail me at hkcredits@rediffmail.com when u will be getting the delivery , I'll be in a more appropriate position to suggest you about the same.

  • Hi Chris,I am myself an owner of Tata Nano(got delivery on 12th Sept09).You haven't mentioned the delivery date you have been alloted nor your UIN.As far as I know Tata Motors have stopped taking cancellation requests but you can call call center on 020-66495678 & confirm about it.Also view website www.tatanano.com for more details.Alternately you can think of selling the car & put up advertisements for the same in classified columns.In that case you will first have to take the delivery & then sell it.You may earn some premium in this deal.But if you can wait the best option is to own the Nano car.You may also try your luck writing to Tata Motors for expediating your delivery.

  • You can call the call centre number and ask them to cancel the booking. They would give you the cancellation number and along with that you have to submit some documents at your selected(earlier) dealer and submit those documents in return they would give you acknowledgement. Finally cheque will be sent to your correspondence address within 30days.
