It is generally understood that If running is less one should not go for Diesel vehicle as they give lot of maintanance problem. ( Oil becomes viscous & Car does not start immediately. etc.) I believe this is related to old diesel engine. Is this problem still persisting with new Fiat diesel engine also? If We are prepared to pay extra for Fiat diesel engine , is it advisable to go for car based on Quadrajet engine Vista even if running is sometimes weekly once but in total more than 1000 Km considering long highway driving? What is the possibility of new cheaper diesel Car coming based on this technology in near future say 1 year.
