i have que for maruti wagonR when we press clutch car was stop what is the technical reason for it?

Hi,
There is no reason why engine should stop when clutch is pressed ie disengaged.Sometimes engine can stop if idling if the clutch is left ubruptly due to sudden jerks.

If it is the middle of the three pedals on the floor, it is not the clutch.

There may be various reasons for the same, Some Strange as well.
1) If your Battery is more than 2 years Old Change it.
2) Get your Alternator tested since it may not be working at its Optimum.
3) Check for Clutch Wear and Tear, replace it if required.
4) Check your Engine timing.
I know most Mechanics will consider you mad when you tell them to do this but trust me these are the main reasons for the problem you are facing.
