Swift can be modified to AT version but with investment of around 1 Lac or so.Recommended not to go for the same as Manual Transmissio nis good enough and investment would not be worth.
Though it is technically possible, its not advisable to do so. Also it has to be done at the manufacturer, and I do not think Maruti will accept such works.
Shiva is spot on here.. It can be done if you have a budget of a lac or so Rupees.. Mind you will be a heck of a lot of work and not many around will be able to convert it to an auto.
Maruti will not help in any way of getting an AT for you ,and leave alone, they will not do anything like this in their workshop.
I have a old Zen and I have been asking for the last eight years,to fix me a RPM meter with their Engineering Dept.
They do not want to reply to any of my emails as they are not tuned to answer such questions and they even cannot fix my Zen Car Engine NOISE Problem which is there from its inception i,e 2000. My car has done around 67000 Kms with the problem and I read JD Powers giving them full marks for SRVICE.?? All in paper. I am really ashamed that there is no one to take it up with them.
