I am not sure if you would like to explore the option of a scheme available in Mumbai where you can own a spark for less that 1.5 lakhs ruppees. I guess you need to purchase the car from a car dealer and get in a 5 year contract of having advertisement on your car for that Duration. Tata Nano or best option is second hand Wagaon R!!!

i am not sure whether u would be interested in this option but you may think over the option of going for any two year old maruti company car, any maruti is good, zen, wagoner, esteem, alto. It will be as good as new and you will get that luxury feel which you will never get in a 800. alto is the cheapest after 800, so try and buy a 2nd hand alto, though if you are specific that you want a new car then it is otherwise, but a secondhand car washed, vacumed, seat covers changed, becomes as good as new.

For a new car, u nd u stretch ur budget abit. best option would be Alto Lxi, which would cost u 2.70Lacs afer all the discounts. Its a very good option M800. Beat A/c, Mileage, Performance, looks, resale value...all perfect!
