Please DON'T BUY KARISHMA XMR., even if you're a HH lover.

They are coded HIGH PRICE for simple Front faring and graphics. They put the same HUNK'S rear shocks, and rear disc. But the same engine with little tuning, same AIR COOLED ENGINE.

Better you go with PULSER220 OR WAIT A WHILE YAMAHA INTRODUCE SOME VARIENTS.

BUT, FORGET KARIZMA.

the all new karizma zmr is the wasteg of money. so my suggestion is not go for the new karizma. bcoz it is not cool as previous verson. after the long time they introduced only the boaring look. so my prefer if u want another bike that is pulsar 220 or yamaha r15. they both were good looking and good performance rather than karizma .. good luck

dude karizma is the fastest bike i have ever come acros
and karizma zmr is no more but a previous karizma witha same engine and in my opinion the looks of new karizma is slightly good than previous one
so if u want to have hh reliable engine with good pickup
u can ofcourse go with new karizma
my expierience with previous karizma engine is awesom
i do have a pulsor 200 but it sucks in front of karizma engine

I owned a Karizma for 5 years. I did a lot of touring on it and It is a really awesome bike but unfortunately it has aged quite a bit. Technology wise and looks wise too. Stickering jobs dont count as upgrades. The current upgrade FI is way too pricey considering the options available.
I bought the latest 220DTSi and it is a hell of a lot better than the karizma. Performance, acceleration, braking, handling, road grip (even in the wet) and features (auto off indicators, HUUUUUGE Carb, oil cooler and Great Firing also) are tremendous. I just did 120kms on the Pune Ahmednagar highway in heavy rain at well over 80kmph.
Go for the pulsar dude.. Its way cheaper than the Karizma too.. U wont be disappointed.

To be very honest with you, Im also planning to buy the new ZMR.... But the problem is that the bike looks hefty on a 223.7 cc engine, and also its the 2nd FI (fuel Injected)engine in hero honda, (the 1st model H.H GLAMOUR being a fail attempt. So, Im a bit skeptical about it, waiting for a test ride and then will decide. The earlier model which I still have is much better interms of style, looks, comfort and ride.... Im not very sure of the comfort level on the new ZMR, and the fairing of the new bike is a bit bigger than the old one, its shows the similarities of an Apache RTR. But one thing that I feel is, there will be a lot pros and cons of it but eventually " A karizma is a Karizma" so go for it.

I have been using the Karizma V1 since the last 5 years. Have used it a lot (32,000 kms)but maintaince costs are on the expensive side. Let me give you some advise, if your usage of the bike is going to be city riding then dont buy the new Karizma or any other bike thats more than 150cc. The best bike for you in that case would be the Yamaha FZ16. Its fantastic for city riding (power & comfort) has good milage and fantastic looks (thanks to the superb tiers). However if you're looking at taking frequent long rides out of the city the new Karizma will be better for you than any other bike in India since its got the whole package, power, comfort over long rides, decent milage and fantastic looks. Dont forget the new ZMA comes with FI which even the Pulsar 220cc does not any more. Make a wise decision and Best of Luck... :)
