you can test drive ritz / punto 1.3 diesel engine(swift use also same dieselengine use)
1--ritz is maruti latest model(back door not stylish)
2--punto is fiat look is soo stylish.heavy body built /designer dash board/meter and featers is too much better then swift/ritz looks like a big car according to in this segment
3---avg is city 15 /and high way 19 (servise duration 15000?or 1year)
4---in italy this is 5 -star rating car

For the usage mentioned Tata Indica Vista or Punto would be a suitable selection.
At last FIAT has come to stay now due to this PUNTO model.
All their earlier models were a big FLOP but I hope they will catch up and beat the competition.
Maruti Ritz does not look muscular and Vista is okay for its price,but for the same almost price,you get more benefits of extra features. But be aware of FIAT service eventhough Tata do it, they may not do it perfectly as their own Vista or so.

It its hatch back , then its definately Indica vista/Punto
If its seden then , Logan is very accurate and practical fits on highway well enough
Go for Ritz, its superb Car(if looking for hatch back), Ppl who are telling back is not attractive will change their opinion soon. Its superb car with all new aerodynamic look for better pickup and avg. giving 21 Avg Diesel and cant be beaten in terms or resale or services. Fiat or Tata service is always an issue.
