Dear SirPlanning to buy diesel sedan in 9 - 12 lakhs budget. Please advice. How is Optra Magnum Diesel. Can it be compared with SKODA Octavia TDI.

Answers:

While Magnum is a good car with power and decently mileage, the gear box is not smooth. Also the resale value.
Octavia is dated, But still the best.
Do consider Cedia Sports too - its a very good driver friendly car.

Aas pointed out by Mr Benny though performance of Optra Magna is also good, it will be worth taking test drive of Mitsubishi Cedia Sport.

I drive a magnum, and can assure you that any day Optra Magnum is better than Skoda Octiva...

And with cashless ownership makes it more than a bargain..

PS. Optra Magnum Diesel is a good buy not the petrol version

About Mitsubishi Cedia.... Has Limited /No service centres!!!
