if you want safety nothing comes close to a grande punto multijet but among the two cars u have mentioned the swift is better.all 3 cars give similar mileage so don't bother.

Maruti Swift is good.this car you will get all comfort,safety,millage with A/C 20/km.low maintanance.

Punto, Vista and Swift are coming with same Fiat Engine - But they differ in terms of Tuning.
Swift is the best in class in terms of Power, Mileage, support and ownership.
Punto comes close, But lack of interiors and power.
Vista comes last - But its price is lesser than the other two, it also has no waiting period in most of the cities.

i've both indica & swift diesel. lot of diff between the two, go for swift blindly, you'll definetly love to drive swift.

For diesel version, Hyundai is always safe.

both the cars r good...and both r using same 1.3 engine from fiat with different look..so u can choose any 1, as both r nice car, vista is having more space thn swift and few extra features all in all value for money car, and if u can spend lil more thn u can go for ford ikon diesel its coste arround 5.80lacs here in lucknow.

All the deisel engine vehicals are tend to use for a shorter period. if ur a regular user then go ahead with a deisel engine. indica is value for money. it has a fiat based pentajet engine which is more efficiency thn a VDi.

1---bcz fiat provide engine in swift.(world famour engineadvantage.
2---fiat servise tenour is 15000km/1year(swift 5000km)(save momey in fiat.
3---weight 110kg extra from swift desighn/size/interior is much better then swift.(better stablity in highway running.
4---avg almost same in both swift/punto city 15 highway20.
5---no any confison take fiat punto asap.
