Once the Air bag is opened , it has to be replaced with new one. The cost of replacement depends upon make and model.Generally app 30000 Rs.

the airbag wount open for a small impact...and u need not change the dash board when air bag is opened ... just refil the air bag blower thats enough .... for refiling its cost below 10k
