Cars Q&A

Question
Hello, I ride on both my Bajaj Caliber and SPLENDER for the past 8 years. Now I am going to buy a new 100cc segment bike instead of my old bikes. I have slight BACK PAIN and SOLDIEAR pain due to the old bikes I think. My choices are, 1. Bajaj DISCOVER 100CC 2. BAJAJ PLATINA 3. TVS STAT CITY 110 4. BAJAJ XCD 135 ( I like this look as well as power with good mileage) I don't like HH SPLENDER, Cos It has only market name but really it's waster when compared to new coming vehicles in terms of technology, comfort and look. please give me a good choice.

U R USING PAST 6 YEARS CALIBER AND SPL, AND NOW U R SUFFERING BY BACK PAIN ,IT IS NOT FOR USING OLD BIKES . PAIN COMES AS WE GO OLDER AGE , IF U CHANGE ANY OTHER VEHICLE IT IS NOT CERTAIN U WILL GET WELL . FOR IT U MUST GO TO DR,AND TAKE TREATMENT .. AND UR CHOICE ABOVE 4 VEHICLE IS TOO LIGHT WEIGHT SO U WILL SUFFER EXTRA . AND SPL IS GOOD MOVEMENT IN RIDING . EASY HANDLING .. BUT NOW U MAY GO FOR PASSION +. GOOD FOR TWO YEAR USE DONT USE TILL BIKE GO TO SCRAP CONDITION

Just clear all the doubts and Listen to me that You must go for Bajaj XCD 135 DTS-i because it is the best amongst the all. I am using Bajaj Discover 125CC DTS-i since past 4 years and have not faced any single problem yet! Only one rear tyre puncture, thats all. No engine work at all with an Avg per lit. of 67+ !! Yes its is. Ride carefully and sensibally and do the servicings at desired times and you are done. Skip the Hero Honda Brand as this is name only and not at the game. Prefer Bajaj as they have best of the Engine, Suspension sysytem, Looks, Mileage and availability of the spares. Just o for it for the Complete Peace Of Mind.... Reply soon. THANKS FOR ALL!!!!

Dr.Vijay, kindly mension the mileage of XCD 135, COS you are voting for that. I too like that look and facilities but I have little doubt on it;s engine. It has very less power compare to the original engine of Discover DTS. That's why I ask you.

Tanx,
jey

Mileage XCD 135 CC: 55+ for harsh ride and 65+ for smoother ride(Personal experience) AVERAGELY More than 60 at any cost(Depends on your ride).

See, First of all, clear the doubt that higher BHP and higher PSI means great power{to some extent it is right} is not true at all. What the Bajaj Stable do, is that they make the bike weight so enough that gives the highest TRACTION to the POWER delivered by the engine, not like the Hero Honda siblings(of which more of the power will not be taken care of by the tyres and traction coefficient is unstable)and hence the skid very easily.(Haven't you noticed, please check in your city) and though if you think Bajaj XCD will skid, forget it, as they have given extra added protection to the bike in the form of Wide Rear Tyre in its class, which will also provide extra stability to your overzealous ride. In the simple word, Bajaj XCD will use 99.99% of the power made by the engine, clutch, gearbox unit and smartly distribute it to the ride of the bike(which is again taken care of by the Advanced Digital Micro-Processor Chip, comes fitted in the bike) as compared to the HH which waste there energy in the form of unstable, unpredictable ride and the heat they produced by the Engine. You may check that when you start both 100 cc bikes from HH and Bajaj, from the cold boot, after 5 minutes of idle condition in standing on central stand on level ground, the heat produced by the XCD will be less than that of any HH bike. Thats the game! The Engine performs at par while keeping mum on to the noice and petrol combustion. I personally likes only one bike from thr HH, which is HH Hunk, which is really smarter than all HH bikes(again not like Pulsar mania, these series rocks, but we will not discuss these monster bikes, because these are too much hasty for the city ride). So eventually XCD 135 will be the best to suit you. Go for the Disc brake Version as it is good for your safety wallet when you go beyond 40 KMPH and want to urgent braking(Pls apply clutch during the emergency braking keeping the handle straight and the engine will get out of the wear and tear issue, thats why Bajaj Scoters were so famous!). DISCOVER 135 AND XCD 135 ARE ONE AND THE SAME BIKE BUT IN LOOKS DISCOVER WILL BE MY CHOICE OR DISCOVER 100CC ATLEAST. So any more doubts? Lets get cleared.Go and XCD(exceed in your life) Reply soon.... *this is my personnal experience and not given or issued by Bajaj or HH, and it is just for you and me and not for the all general public. No company will hold responsible me and you for that definition and clarification. Experience may vary from person to person. Thanks..

there is no any bike wich have all plus point ........ we must cpmpramiseat a one point ...as per dr VIJAY SIR , THERE WILL NOTHING CHANGE IDLE SPEED WITHIN 5 MINUTE ON CENTRE STAND.. BUT FOR BODY COMFORTNESS ONLY AND ONLY HERO HONDA IS THE BEST . FOR TEST IT IN PRACTICLE DRVE 100 KM FIRST DAY HERO HONDA PASSION OR ANY OTHER PROUDUCT AND SECOND DAY DRIVE DISCOVER 100KM ON SAME ROUTE FEEL THE DIFFRENCE OF TIRENESS... ALL BAJAJ PROUDUCT GIVE SOME SOUND WHEN GEAR CHANGE LIKE DRIVE CHAIN GONE TOO LOOSE.. BUT NO SOUND ON THIS TYPE IN HH..GOOD RESALE VALUE FOR HH .. WHAT ALL PEOPLE R FOOLISH WHO GIVE EXTRA VALUE FOR HERO HONDA .. BAJAJ BIKES R BEST FOR ITS OUTLOOK ...

Answer by GAUTAM JAIN CHENNAI 09 September 2009

backpain caused by inclined seats of bajaj bikes. it is a common problem of all caliber users. never go for sporty bikes. puchase either splendor or passion. never inclined seats.
